Keane talked smack but Arsenal domination marches on.

The story of this match was manager substitutions. Wenger brings on Rosicky to replace a player on the “periphery” (-Andy Gray), Walcott. He immediately energizes the Arsenals attack, setting up Adebayor (77), then scoring the clincher (22 ET). That was the MOTM performance. Rosicky was that senior element Arsenal needed to drive the goals and win this game.

Jol on the other hand subbed out Gardner (yellow card) and brought on...

Yet another frustrating encounter with Bolton, as it takes a late Kolo Toure header to earn the Gunners a Valentine’s Day replay at the Reebok.

(Ed. note: If someone else could contribute their thoughts on this one, I’d appreciate it, as work and family commitments have kept me away from the web the past 36 hours or so.)

Its arguably the last game that we have to get something out of to give us the confidence that we’ve finally understood how to play against the physical sides.

If we win this we would’ve won against both our bogey opponents .. Blackburn and Bolton this year. We would’ve won at the Reebok had that Freddie header gone in but we were just unlucky. Its a good chance to blow the Trotters off and prove to everyone , most of all to ourselves that we’ve come a full circle.

We’ve got a huge number of injury worries. The most worrying of them all is the one...

Yes, you read that right. Joel & I recorded it in the car while on the way to some Robbie Burns night festivities last Friday. Personally, I feel that quality suffered some due to the road sounds and my general distractedness as I didn’t really know where we were going.

You can judge for yourself by downloading the file here:

Seeing as how it was recorded last Friday, and there’s obviously a lot that’s happened since then, this podcast is really more about explaining why there haven’t...

(Ed. Note - If Spurs take a two goals - nil lead and they still can’t peg us back, the Spursenfreude icon must be displayed. I think Nelson from the Simpsons said it best, “Ha ha!” It’s bad enough that poor lass supports (supported?) Spurs, but they even make her cry.)

After a dire opening twenty minutes, the gulf in class shone through as two goals from The Beast earned Arsenal a draw in the first leg of the League Cup Semi-Final at Shite Hart Lane this afternoon.

Those away goals...

After that absolutely amazing come from behind win the morale in the squad will be very very high especially as we beat the league leaders home and away. Arsene will rotate his squad significantly though I believe the heart of the defense will still remain the same.

Toure will probably start alongside Sendy due to Djourou anda Gallas being out. If AW is really confident he might give Matthew Connolly a game and give Toure or Sendy a break mostly Sendy…Traore n Hoyte will complete the back four.

Walcott and Denilson on the wings with Diaby and probably Merida/Song in the middle...

Thierry Henry & Robin van Persie combined to give Arsenal an absolutely amazing come from behind victory over Manchester United at Ashburton Grove earlier today.

Henry’s header 3 minutes into stoppage time helped the Gunners do the double over Man U for the first time since 2002.

EDIT: OK, sorry not to post anything yesterday, but work got away from me. Anyway, there’s not much to be said that hasn’t already been discussed in the comments below. Obviously, Robin’s injury is...
