I’m actually more gutted than I expected. I love the FA Cup, and I’m really upset that we couldn’t get past a shit team like Blackburn.

I haven’t yet caught a replay of the Carling Cup final and probably wont either but reading so many forums and views I’ve come to the conclusion that we played brilliantly yet again only to be destroyed mentally by JT’s injury and the eventual Diaby injury. The future is bright though….

Back to business..barely time enough to even breathe. Another away game in the damn North West. However we’ve pretty much dominated Blackburn overall and I dont believe we will do badly in this one either. Picked the injury/rested list off arsenal-mania.com:

Rosicky,...

As posted on Arsenal.com:

As you may know, there has been a problem with the “Fly Emirates” logo on the 2006/07 home shirt, caused by a fault in the manufacture of certain batches of the logos.

There have been two issues. The first, “delamination”, is when the logo actually starts to peel off from the shirt. The second concerns the cracking of the logo.

Although we have been aware of the delamination issue since early August, this was restricted to a...

Adebayor was charged with failure to leave the pitch after being falsely red-carded. Now, name me a player who has been falsely sent off who would just quietly walk off the pitch? I think it was wrong for Adebayor to react THAT angrily, as he should just comply but given the climate of the match, being 1-goal down in injury time in a cup final, it was not just another sending off in a league game. You lose a league game there’s another one next week to make up for the 3-points, you lose a final and THAT’S IT! Can’t fault him entirely for his passion for wanting to compete.

The...

Arsenal fans here in Minneapolis braved treacherous driving conditions in hopes to see the Jose boys get schooled by the kids. Here are some pre-match photos of the die-hard Arsenal fans here in the Minneapolis area.

Late stupidity mars an otherwise great game of football, as the young guns fell to the rubles of Chelski 2-1 in the Carling Cup Final.

It all started so well. The boys came out of the blocks firing on all cylinders, dominating in all areas of the pitch. The pressure paid off, when, after twelve minutes, a beautiful one-two between Abou Diaby and Theo Walcott found the 17-year old England international in space - enough that he sent a perfectly placed curling shot past a diving Peter Crouch to put the...

So its finally upon us. The prize money itself doesnt help us at all but if we lose on Sunday I fear for the morale of our young squad. Teams better than Arsenal and players bigger than those what Arsenal have have choked in big games. While I dont expect we’ll bottle it it’s a big ask for the kids to play in a final against a team of the quality of Chelsea.

I dont know if Ade will start, I really dont..and he probably should but I’d really like to see Ali get the nod with Baps with Ade coming on if and when we’re down a bit. I think Diaby n Denilson will start...

I’ll unfortunately be out of town this week-end but that hasn’t stopped me from finding a venue for all the local Gooners to catch our impending Carling Cup victory. So come on down to The Fox and Hounds in Studio City on Sunday at 7am and cheer the Gunners on!

More after the jump…
