Finally….
What was supposed to be Membership Monday got moved a bit, but now we have something that will let you sign up for our ‘Premium Membership’ package with ArsenalAmerica.com. Just follow the links for Membership 2007-08.
In case you are wondering, ArsenalAmerica.com is a free site where you can come and discuss Arsenal without any cost. But because of the requirements of Arsenal Football Club for being an “Official Supporters Club” recognized by Arsenal, we are forced to charge an annual membership fee for ‘Premium Members.’ For the 2007-08 Season this fee remains unchanged at $20 (£10).
Premium membership is required if you wish to request ticket assistance from us. As many of you know, we have several season tickets that we hold and make available to our premium members, and we occasionally get assistance from Arsenal with some spares that they have for supporters club members flying in to see a game. We also hope to arrange a Roadtrip to the Emirates (which will be our 5th Annual roadtrip if memory serves) and this will be open to all Premium Members who wish to fly over for a game or two. Finally, we sometimes get gifts from the club that we distribute to in raffle form to our Premium Members.
So if you are planning to see a game this year, or if you want to just say thanks and help us keep the site alive, click the links send us some cash to keep things going.
Thanks

Andrew, they really should be able to make an exception for active duty military stationed overseas. I’m born and raised in the state of Florida and I’m as American as it gets. I want to be eligible for the tickets, do the road trips, etc.
You need to let the powers that be know that you’ve got this pain in your arse that hounds you about this every single year. I’ll be sending you a little love letter everytime something is going on and I’m not included because of a temporary change of address. Tell them it hurts my feelings or something. Hook a brother up.

We have had exceptions for guys in the service stationed overseas. I’m not sure if Sgt. Dugger has rotated back to the world from Iraq but he can tell you some great stories about coming on our roadtrips while on 2 week R&R.

Sorry to be a pest, but was trying to renew my membership. Filled out the forum and hit submit and was directed to a page that said:
Error 404 - Not Found
Sorry, the page that you are looking for does not exist.
So I’m left wondering if it went through.

Andrew/JoshuaD,
If an American service member has an APO address, they are still a US resident! APO addresses are treated exactly as regular addresses in the States- the mail goes through NY for APO AE, San Francisco (I think) for APO AP. So, if you need a state, use APO NY. I am stationed in Germany, and use APO NY when necessary, and that has worked.
But for now, I too am in Iraq…..so I will follow the Gunners vicariously this year. Thanks for a great service to American fans.

By the way, I also got a 404 the first time I hit Submit (it showed up before the PayPal page). But I tried again and it went through.
