I am a South African Arsenal (14 years ) fan currently visiting the USA. I’ve been here for 3 months and the only soccer I get to see of our team is online… after games!
I’m missing the excitement of the live games, especially since we’re ROCKING this season. It would be nice to share the fun with fellow Arsenal fans. Please let me know if any games are shown live in bars, clubs, etc., in and around North New Jersey.
HHHHeeeeeeeelllllpppppp :( lol

Apropos of nothing but your NJ photo — did you know the Sopranos cast were so, ahem, heavy at the Emmy awards last week, that extra teamsters had to be called in to shore up the tiered seating. My informant tells me that the wooden frames under the stage was literally “bowing” under the weight of all those ziti-guzzlers like Bobby Bacalla and co.
Definitely a bunch of tracksuit-clad hitman who don’t follow the Wenger fish-rice-ved diet!

Nevada’s — definitely. It’s amazing even compared to the footy pubs I’ve visited on various trips to England and France. And they give Arsenal good respect down there, even though they’re all dirty Mancs.
I’ve been going there for Arsenal matches since back in the old days when we used to get totally pre-empted ay a ManUre match kicking off simultaneously. Now, especially with the bar downstairs fixed up, there’s plenty of room to show the Arsenal also — we don’t get bumped anymore, and I can guarantee that you’ll be impressed by the Gooner turnout. You’ll think you were at the corner of Blackstock & Gillespie rather than 11th St. & 3rd Ave.

It’s a sad reflection of NYC to say that the dump known as Nevada Smiths is as close as you’ll get to a live game here for atmosphere.
it’s always full of mancs and idiot chelski supporters.
I’ve been a few times but don’t really like boozing during the day (as i, more often than not, get myself into trouble)
I wish there was a better pub… an arsenal stronghold
