Hello, my name is Tim and I’m a Gooner. Actually, I’m a northwest Gooner. Ok, full disclosure; I’m the Seattle/Tacoma rep for Arsenal America and I live in Tacoma.
Yesterday I received an email from some fellow Seattle/Tacoma Arsenal fans, which means that there are more than one of us up here! Well, how many are there? I don’t know, but I’m hoping this article will help me find out.
What I’d like to do is have a first ever Seattle/Tacoma Arsenal America mixer. We can get together, brag about how many times we’ve been to Highbury/Emirates (twice for me!), show off our kits, plan future parties, and generally geek out over Arsenal.
But I cannot do it alone. I need you: I need you Pacific North West Gooners to send me an email saying “hey I want to go!” That way I can add you to my mailing list and plan a really great party.

Greetings from the San Francisco Branch! Hope you get a good turnout. Where do you lot usually go to watch the matches. Do the Gooners up there have a favorite pub?

In Seattle there’s an Arsenal friendly pub “The George and Dragon.” And there are several other venues.
In Tacoma the only place to catch matches is at my friend’s pub called “Doyle’s Public House.” He opens at 4 am for me to watch some of the early weekend matches.
I’ll be at Doyle’s on Sunday, even though I usually watch matches at home if I can. Just because the owner is a Reds fan and I want to be there to rub it in if we win!

Tim, thanks for the note. i’ve sent an email to that address before and had it bounced back.
i live in freemont and usually catch games at the George & Dragon. i know a few other Arsenal supporters in Seattle as well.

@SG - Try the email again. We had a problem where ALL the branch office emails were bouncing. When we made those changes after the hack, the forwarding wasn’t working for a while, but we didn’t know it I fixed it a few months ago now, so you should be good.

The wife and I used to go to the George & Dragon to watch the Arsenal matches, but that kind of ground to a halt since we had twins. Now I have to watch at home and it just isn’t quite as fun as the atmosphere at a pub. Hopefully we’ll be able to start going back there soon.

Greetings from the Wallingford neighborhood of Seattle. While I at least try to catch all the big matches at the G&D, I’m probably not going to make it to the Liverpool game, as Saturday night’s halloween festivities will leave me with a hangover Tony Adams could be proud of.
Speaking of which, I’m still in need of a costume- what do you think of a frothing-at-the-mouth, straitjacketed Mad Jens?

The Blue Moon Football Club is over 66% Arsenal fans. That’s because there only three of us watch football on the regular TV there. When the big matches are on we go down to the G and D. I down there every Sat and Sun chances are you seen me there. Go Gunners!

I’ll drop you an email too, but I’m at the G&D for every game that isn’t shown on FSC/ESPN. And there’s always a good regular core, although I don’t know how many of them are ArseAmers, certainly quite a few.

Hey guys! I’ll be down at the george and dragon with my roommate for sure of the nov 3rd man U game. Can’t make it for the liverpool. But I will be there on halloween which is also my birthday so that’ll be a crazy night!! Glad to see there’s more then a few who come check the site out! Lets get a gathering going. it’d be nice to meet everyone.

So G&D is not showing the game live tomorrow? I see the time on their site as 10:00am but the game is on @ 5:45….Hate to see the game after I have the score…
