Arsenal America Board Change Arsenal 2 - 2 Manchester United
Nov 02

Just spoke to the Kezar Pub which (as local Gooners may know) has the same ownership as Mad Dog in the Fog and they informed me that Mad Dog in the Fog will NOT be opening early for the match.

However, both Maggie McGarrys in North Beach and Kezar Pub will be opening in time for the 5:45am start.

So far, most of the Bay Area Gooners I have been in contact with are planning on
going to Maggie McGarrys. There is even an effort afoot to make this pub a Bay Area Gooner stronghold.

Regrettably, your S.F. Branch Manager will be unable to attend, but wanted to give Bay Area Gooners the addresses for both pubs:

Maggie McGarrys
1353 Grant Street
Between Vallejo & Green
San Francisco, CA
Tel: 415-399-9020

Kezar Pub
770 Stanyan St
Between Beulah & Waller
San Francisco, CA
415-386-9292

I have no information yet on later replay showings. Enjoy the match and I will see you all at another match soon!

SF Arsenal needs a home, let’s unite at Maggie McGarrys and establish the gooner HQ. I can’t wait for the match!

holy helb i can’t believe i’d never seen this site before. i’ve got to be up feeding my 5 month old at that time anyway, might as well enjoy a beverage or 6 and watch the gunners beat the ugly out of tevez. i’l leave her at home, but my daughter will be wearing the arsenal onezie in spirit. see you all in a few hours.

Maggie McGarry’s it is! Assuming we can get our arses out of bed in time.
    Come on you Gunners!

I thought we Texans were big men for getting up for 6:00 and 7:45 games. But opening a pub before 5:45 a.m.? Incroyable! I hope I get to visit your fair city sometime soon — wish I had been there during Tottenham weekend, but instead I was down south in Irvine and couldn’t find anything open for that early game.

I know it’s hard to get up at 5 in the morning, but does anybody know of a meeting place for the later afternoon replays to watch the Fox Sports Spanish station broadcasts?
