For those wanting to discuss the 2 dropped points on Saturday. Meanwhile the clock ticks away until the transfer window closes…

Tickets available: Arsenal v. Cardiff FA Cup Replay
Due to the ‘last minute’ nature of this game, we don’t have many Americans who could hop on a plane in less than a week to head over and catch the FA Cup replay against Cardiff City on Tuesday. Thus, we have several tickets available from our collection of season tickets and other spares. If you are going to be in London next week and want to attend, please let our ticketmaster’s know over at http://www.bigsoccer.com/ in the Arsenal room. Follow the instructions in the Tickets and Travel section for contacting them and they’ll get back to you quickly.
We need a stimulus package!
Its really that simple. We need a catalyst to jump start this Arsenal team. Arsenal has lost their swagger. Wenger is a poor motivator and most of us would agree he is not a tactician.
When your team is in a rut – its necessary to add a new element, that psychologically convinces everyone to look at their duties with the perception of optimism and confidence.
Theo’s and Cesc’s presence did not impact our early results. Maybe it will be a new signing or the return of Eduardo. Rosicky could be that influence, but I don’t see his first match until April – if he and we are lucky.
Last year’s team is history. We are so unlikely to duplicate that play ever again. We need to identify our strongest players available (technically and tactically) and develop a system that can breakdown our opponents.
4-4-2 isn’t working nor is a 4-5 -1. Or they could work and AW can’t seem to connect enough dots to find an effective combination.
Most will agree our strength is combination play – or it used to be. Once in awhile we can play the long ball, but only RVP is showing impressively. How can we develop play to utilize him more frequently? Nasri seems to be a scorer. How can we create more options for him?
Ade can’t read the game. He holds the ball too long and if its Bendtner who is open, you can be sure he won’t play the ball to him. If Ade doesn’t have the ball, he is lost on where to move.
If you want Ade in the starting line up, then you need to suggest a position where he can really utilize his skills. For last season and his hype, he is underachieving and disrupting our flow & movement.
At the moment, RVP & Ade are not effective, but we are stuck in a Wenger moment & the options with Vela or others is bleak.
I’d like to restrict discussion to mid-field and attack. GK and defense is another time.
Everyone’s opinion can contribute to a solution.
