Who was at the Roma game?

Were any of you at the game in Rome a couple of weeks ago.  If so, were you in the Arsenal section?  We had the most ridiculous wait in the stadium and then standing by the closed doors of the buses.  Then that slow, slow procession back to Termini.  In retrospect the whole thing was so absurd, disorganized and cumbersome that its now quite funny.  I’m sure you will concur with me that it was not funny at the time.  I hope its better organized in May!!

DM still our main weakness?

I find it difficult to understand why until today there are still people calling out for a new DM?

Let me ask you a simply question: Imagine the following scenario…

(1) Our 5 strikers, pair any two of the five together up front, are you confident they will score?

(2) Central Midfield – pair Fabregas with either Denilson / Diaby / Song, do you fear they will get overrun?

(3) Pair any two of Gallas, Toure, Djourou, and the returning Senderos in the heart of our defence, are you confident they will keep a clean sheet?

(4) When an oppsition team launch a long cross into the box, are you confident Almunia will come out and clear it all without making a mess out of it?

My question is – which above scenario is your biggest fear, and it worries you most?

I believe the scenario which worries you most is exactly the biggest weakness we are having with this current squad. And shouldn’t it be the number one priority to be addressed?

So forget about what the media been telling you what is Arsenal’s key weakness, we are the one who follow Arsenal week after week, year after year.

Personally, the moment in an Arsenal match that scares me most is whenever the opposition gets a corner or freekick. As I always found myself holding my breath. Our central backs, knowing well enough that our goalkeeper wouldn’t come out and help to deal with it, tend to panic, knowing that if they allow the opposition players to make a contact with the cross, it’s as good as a goal.

The Red Devil or the Deep Red Sea?

Some more stuff to keep us busy during the “interlull”.

Do you prefer ManU or Liverpool to win the league title?

Reasons to not want Liverpool
- they play boring football
- they always get lucky, especially in the CL
- Rafa uses those stupid tactics to beat superior teams
- cannot forget our defeat to them last year

Reasons to not want ManU
- they are arrogant, snobbish, dirty b*****ds
- their coach is all of the above and worse
- their fans will gloat forever
- no way, they should win the quintuple or whatever shit they call it
- the loss might actually cause them irreversible damage from which they may not recover (one can hope)

Personally, I dislike both, but if given a do or die situation may actually end up choosing Liverpool. :-)
