Wenger successor named

In a BBC Football exclusive, Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis revealed that Arsene Wenger is expected to step down as Arsenal’s manager next season. Wenger will become Arsenal’s Director of Football, while talks are completed to have former Olympique de Marseille manager, Raymond Goethals replace him.
Knowledgeable footie fans will recall that Goethals was the first coach to ever lead a French club to a European trophy (UEFA Champions League, 1993).
