The greatest test is to bear defeat without losing heart

Apologies to Mr. Ingersoll, but Arsenal’s greatest test is still ahead of us.

For better or worse, we are at that time of the season when the fixtures are coming fast and furious. Arsenal supporters barely have time to vent their frustration over being bounced out of one competition, when another important league match arises, as the Gunners head to Anfield tomorrow.

With Aston Villa seemingly floundering, one could forgive Gooners for being convinced Arsenal has secured a top four finish, and a place in Champions League football next season, but in addition to Liverpool, Arsenal must still play ManUre and Chel$ki within a month’s time. Not only that but our Champions League Semi-Final first leg against ManUre looms on the horizon less than 10 days away.

Tomorrow’s match will be an uphill battle, as Liverpool have nothing but the League title to play for, and have been on a bit of a tear in the league as of late, beating Blackburn 4-0, Aston Villa 5-0, and ManUre 4-1, along with victories over Sunderland and Fulham.

With Arsenal’s bitter defeat to Chel$ki this weekend in the FA Cup Semi-Final still fresh in the players and supporters minds, Tuesday’s task has been made even harder, with the news that Robin van Persie and Emmanuel Adebayor are both unavailable for the match.

So have at it. Give us your thoughts on tomorrow’s match, potential line-ups, or just vent a bit more about last Saturday’s match.
