The recent exhibition game between Chelsea and AC Milan at Baltimore’s M&T Bank stadium drew a sellout crowd of nearly 72,000 fans of the beautiful game. Certainly an encouraging display of love for the game in Charm City. Although my team did not play, I was glad to see and enjoy a compelling, competitive, and enjoyable game. The Chelsea supporters were in legion at a local pub close to the stadium and I was glad to be there amongst them to show support for Arsenal. There were some Gooners there and we acknowledged each other on the few occasions that we met.
It was great to chant Arsenal above the din of songs about celery. Truly a great experience and atmosphere.
