Lost in the quasi-disappointment of yesterday’s draw was the fact that with the point gained, it is now impossible for Spurs to finish ahead of Arsenal in the table. With that, we provide a public service to aid in the enjoyment of the occasion:
INGREDIENTS
- 9 lasagna noodles
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound bulk Italian sausage
- 1 (16 ounce) can...

Keane talked smack but Arsenal domination marches on.
The story of this match was manager substitutions. Wenger brings on Rosicky to replace a player on the “periphery” (-Andy Gray), Walcott. He immediately energizes the Arsenals attack, setting up Adebayor (77), then scoring the clincher (22 ET). That was the MOTM performance. Rosicky was that senior element Arsenal needed to drive the goals and win this game.
Jol on the other hand subbed out Gardner (yellow card) and brought on...

(Ed. Note - If Spurs take a two goals - nil lead and they still can’t peg us back, the Spursenfreude icon must be displayed. I think Nelson from the Simpsons said it best, “Ha ha!” It’s bad enough that poor lass supports (supported?) Spurs, but they even make her cry.)
After a dire opening twenty minutes, the gulf in class shone through as two goals from The Beast earned Arsenal a draw in the first leg of the League Cup Semi-Final at Shite Hart Lane this afternoon.
Those away goals...

Those of us who are regular visitors to ESPN.com will no doubt be somewhat confused at today’s news: the most popular internet sports journalist in the world, Bill “The Sports Guy” Simmons, has chosen to be a Spurs fan. Of his own free will.
I’m not sure whether I should be disappointed or not.

Too much going on, can’t think straight, head about to explode!
Two words for Spurs: Ha Ha!!!
Henry hat trick seals crazy 4-2 win for the Arsenal.
Spurs get food poisoning last night, and go out and lose to West Ham 2-1.
Absolutely legendary!!!
EDIT: Oh, and Happy St. Totteringham’s Day! It came a bit later this year, but they have still not bettered us. That, to me, is important. Stuff it Spurtz.

God I love this photo. This poor lass is grieving the Spurs Carling Cup final loss from a few years back.
No real reason to run this other than we play Spurs on Monday. I may just run this photo every day until then.
Ha!

Jacques Santini has quit as coach of Tottenham Hotspur. (ALREADY? WE NEVER EVEN FIGURED OUT WHY HE WENT THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!)
The former France coach has left White Hart Lane because of personal reasons, after just five months and 13 matches in charge. (IT JUST SEEMED LIKE AN ETERNITY)
His decision to quit is a massive blow to Spurs (BUT NOT AS MASSIVE AS BEING SP*RS), who had begun the Barclays Premiership season well - albeit with a scarcity of goals - under the Frenchman.

I think Spurs has made a perfect choice for manager in this upcoming season. For a team that splashes out too much money for shite players (Helder “I only score by mistake” Postiga), what can be better than a manager that doesn’t know how to use his players so that they can play at their best ability level? France was a terribly managed team this past 2 weeks. The team focussed around Zidane who, several weeks ago said his confidence level was at an all-time low after being sent off for Real Madrid. And the pure magic combination of Pires and Henry was split up and they were...

Time to break out the old ALL CAPS TREATMENT?
Santini is shock new Spurs boss
Tottenham have announced French national team coach Jacques Santini will take over as head coach at White Hart Lane after Euro 2004 (THE DETAILS OF WHAT WILL SURELY BE HIS ABRUPT DISMISSAL NINE MONTHS LATER WERE NOT DISCLOSED).
It brings to an end Spurs’ nine-month search for a successor to Glenn Hoddle after the former England manager was sacked following a poor run of form (THE TEAM WASN?T DOING TO WELL EITHER).
David Pleat took on the role of caretaker-manager until the end of...
