According to the BBC Alan Sugar, Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur, has been cast as in the role of “successful businessman” in the new, English-version, of NBC’s show “The Apprentice.”

From the BBC’s website:

“Sir Alan, the multi millionaire behind Amstrad, the man credited with bringing computers to the mass market throughout Europe, the saviour of Tottenham FC….”

Saviour? Didn’t they just barely beat the drop? And this is the guy millions of Britons are going to be watching...

I just went on a Spurs Message Board to see what that they think about the game. Here are some excerpts from a candid post…

Our chances next week

xzander writes “Just to test the water and gauge opinion….

Next week, Spurs will play Arsenal. Arsenal are about to win the title. They’ve chosen a passionate, driven manager, stuck with him, and supported him, both financially and in the boardroom....

Just heard next Sunday will be a public holiday according to the opposition’s Office. PA and Reuters Wireless reports. The First Post and maybe more to come on Sunday

Football eh? A beautiful game or what? What a way to win the league, at WHL.

This season might be the best season in terms of being a Gooner. As things stand if we win on Sunday the title will be ours again. Also the Scams will be going down with just 3 points above Leeds with some hard games to come.

Don?t you just love to be a Gunner? Forget the FA and CL cup.

We are the best by far
Oh!!!...

After celebrating the annihilation of Leeds yesterday, I just want to wish every U.S based Gooner on here a very HAPPY SCUM DAY 43 for Saturday:)

For those of you who don’t know SCUM DAY is the annual celebration that all Arsenal fans commemerate on April 17th every year as it was on that date in 1961 when those poor wannabes from N17 last won the league championship.

Let’s hope this weekend we’ll be rejoicing not only in our 5-0 rout over Leeds and SCUM DAY 43, but also that Chelsea and Manure slip up against Everton and Portsmouth respectively, so that we can...

I just wanted to wish Gooners everywhere a very happy St. Totteringham’s Day. Thanks to today’s 0-1 loss at home to Boro, Sp*rs now officially will finish below us in the table again. I, for one, will be celebrating this annual holiday this weekend, and I hope I’ll also be celebrating an advancement in the Champions League as well!

Tuesday 9th March 2004
Possible St. Totteringham Day celebration
On this day our poor neighbours who live in our shadow at the other end of the Seven Sisters Road play away at Middlesbrough. Should they fail to win this match (which we all hope will happen) it will mean yet again they won’t be able to finish above us in the league…….hence St Totteringham Day:)lol

April 17th 2004
Scum Day 43
The 43rd anniversary of Spertz’s failure to win English football’s top prize…..the league championship:)lol

How hard it must be to be a spurs fan. The fact that the sky is the limit for us, the Great Gunners while Spurs on the other hand never fail to show signs why they will never be a team to reckon with, that must be a huge nut to swallow for the coldspurs fans.

Its probably common knowledge by now, but I thought I would submit the news that Thierry Henry has won the Barclaycard Player of the Month Award. I could go on about all the enemy strikers out there that he beat out, but I suppose that would be Ruud.

Wolves beware!

I was just thinking the other day I hadn’t seen this photo in a while. Nice of them to give us a opportunity to bring it up.

3-nil to the good and a man up is usually a game you win. Ah, but this is Spurs where the impossible is always an option.

I keep hearing people talking about Stephen Carr-this and Ledly King-that. These guys can’t hold their own jocks let alone a lead. First McBride gets them at the death on the weekend, then they concede 4 (4!) in 45 minutes to a team that has only 10 men on the pitch, and one of them isn’t Anelka. Brutal.

Two Tottenham fans sitting in a pub. One turns to the other and asks “Where are you from?” The second fan answers, “I’m from Edmonton.” The first fan, surprised replies, “No way, I’m from Edmonton too! What school did you go to?”

The second fan answers, “St David’s.” “Wow!” yells the other, “I went there too!”

“No way!” shouts the second. “What year did you leave?” “Eighty-three” says the first. “Oh my God!” screams the second, “I left...
