On Sunday, April 10th the Charm City Gooners partnered with the Baltimore area Liverpool Supporters to participate in the First Annual Supporters Club Charity Shield. This match was to benefit the Craig Willinger Fund (CWF), a fantastic charity that sends cancer stricken children and young adults to watch the beautiful game all over the world. The Du Burns Arena in Canton, Maryland was the scene for the world class level of football that was displayed that day. The match was guest referred by Adrian Bumbut of Baltimore’s MISL team, the Baltimore Blast.
