Finally….
What was supposed to be Membership Monday got moved a bit, but now we have something that will let you sign up for our ‘Premium Membership’ package with ArsenalAmerica.com. Just follow the links for Membership 2007-08.
In case you are wondering, ArsenalAmerica.com is a free site where you can come and discuss Arsenal without any cost. But because of the requirements of Arsenal Football Club for being an “Official Supporters Club” recognized by Arsenal, we are forced to charge an...

As you all know, we’ve been upgrading ArsenalAmerica.com and hoped to have a new membership system up in time for ticket requests this year. Unfortunately, the module we want to use has been delayed by the developers, so it looks like for now, we’re going to re-use some of the systems we had last year (which aren’t exactly the best, but will do for a few weeks).
We’re kind of rushing this because in the next four weeks, Rick B is going to be buying tickets for approximately 7 games! This will require a tremendous amount of money in our account–i.e. more than...

It’s that time of year again. If you look to your right, you’ll see a listing of all of the players who lined up for the Arsenal last season. Pick the one you thought had the best season, and he’ll be presented with his very own trophy like the one Jeff’s modeling.
Only one vote per person, and the polls will remain open until July 14th.
May the best man win!

Coming soon….
As you know we had to redo a lot of the website over the last few weeks, made all the more horrendous by a computer hack into our system. We’re now pretty settled and back in business on a new machine, with new levels of security and the such so that we are now turning our attention to the registration system and other features we’ve wanted to impliment. We hope to integrate the registration system seemlessly with Paypal this year, so we won’t have to go through massive lists of emails and match them up to (non-matching) paypals and then print registration...

“…so glad you could attend, come inside, come inside.”
So, one horrendous database hack, several hours of stress, and an on-going negotiation of a domain name transfer later, and we’re back!
Thanks to my good friend Dave who still had his backup of the site from when he helped do the upgrade back in April (THANK GOD). Add in the fact that I pretty much double post all of my ArsenalAmerica entries on my personal blog, (adventuresofmike.net) and some hard work by Steve Rossen grabbing a bunch of cached articles from Google, and we’re almost back to...

All,
As some of you may know, ArsenalAmerica.com was hacked not too long ago. This caused lots of issues with access, missing posts, comments disappearing, etc, etc.
Our webmaster Andrew, along with my good friend Dave, have been working for the past several weeks, and believe they’ve worked out all the issues caused by the hack. We’ve also taken this opportunity to push through some changes that we’ve been planning for some time.
We’re pretty certain that everyone’s...

Hi,
Yea, I know–no stories for a few days. Sorry about all that. As some of you noticed we were hacked last week and it took awhile to fix. We’re underway on something new that should help minimize those problems (ergo, slow posting).
Anyway, 3 tough games and a lot of mail. We’ll try to get it all posted today.

I’ll unfortunately be out of town this week-end but that hasn’t stopped me from finding a venue for all the local Gooners to catch our impending Carling Cup victory. So come on down to The Fox and Hounds in Studio City on Sunday at 7am and cheer the Gunners on!
More after the jump…

Just a reminder that Arsenal America’s viewing party for the clash between the Gunners & Chelski will take place just outside of Philadelphia, at Catherine Rooney’s Irish Pub in Wilmington, DE, on Sunday the 25th @ 10 AM. I’ve just finalized the details with pub management:
1) Pub opens @ 9:30 or so

3) Bagels, Donuts and Coffee will be provided
4) They will be able to sell beers/etc starting @ 10 AM
