Like everyone else - I guess I was frustrated at watching everything slip away from Arsene and his lads last season and I had the thought more than once that something is missing. Could it be that we need to jump in and get wet with the other top teams and chase down a couple of ’star players’? If Man City can bid for Ronaldinho, we can…..but Arsene has always been the one to ‘grow’ star players and I really respect that.

Buying big name players doesn’t always work and history shows us that very clearly especially at Chelsea but then they have such...

The schedule is out and published at the Guardian’s web site.

I don’t want to use the word “easy” but I’d say their schedule is pretty light for August so they should get off to a fast start for the season.

I’m counting down!!!

At last, some real Arsenal news to report! The first signing of the close-season has been confirmed today as latest teen sensation (Am I talking footballers or pop stars? hard to tell eh?), Aaron Ramsey signed a “long-term contract for an undisclosed fee”. (Gotta love how we do business, right?)

Anyway, the best part of this story is of course how the young Welshman turned down a move to ManUre in favor of Arsenal. Shows smarts right off the bat. Whether that translates onto the football pitch will have to wait a few more weeks at the very least.

Hi

We will be messing with some of the functions on ArsenalAmerica over the next few days as we get ready for the next season. So if you get some odd or strange messages, don’t panic. Just go with it and we’ll get everything sorted shortly.

This guy is a “sniffer” and is already creating headlines.

Of Moroccan descent, Elyounoussi started playing football in the club Trosvik in Fredrikstad, from which many of the young players in the Fredrikstad Youth team have their roots. He is said to be the greatest talent Fredrikstad has produced in decades. He was awarded the Young...

Posting a thread for any Arsenal or general football related discussion. Of interest on Sat, May 24 is the play-off final between Bristol City and Hull to determine the final team getting promoted to the Premier League next season. Also, on Sat & through next week are plenty of international games prior to Euro 2008. The African World Cup qualifying games start next week as well.

Now the season is officially over, I suggest we re-channel all our emotional energy to someone who really deserves it. Instead of insulting each other under the guise of healthy debate, let’s make this a dumping ground for all the toxic love we feel for football’s Mr. Greedy/Vomiting/Cheating Scum. Memo from Moscow to Ashley: It’s called karma c***hole! What a bonus: I just loved it, loved it, when John Terry slipped because I knew he would blub like luvvie. As they say in The Big Lebowski, “Strong men also cry… strong men also cry.” Well, cynical...
