International Break: Worrying or Encouraging?

International breaks seem to be either extremely useful for teams or extremely damaging. For Arsenal, the recent history of international breaks has been anything but useful. Most of the major injuries to key players over the last 3-4 seasons have been picked up during different international breaks. Thomas Vermaelean was the victim last season while Robin van Persie was the major victim the season before. So forgive me, but with the fortunes the club has had to deal with recently in the league and in previous international breaks, I was prepared for the worst. With Twitter on Arsenal’s side, Newcastle is doomed…

It’s GO TIME!  Goonerdamus is back with the first Pre-Report of the season!!!  It’s the first match and the ‘Damus couldn’t be happier.
