Founded in 2006 (and still run) by former Arsenal America Secretary Mark Barbeau, the Bay Area Gooners is one of the largest branches of Arsenal America. Gooners from all across the Bay Area meet for every Arsenal match at Maggie McGarry’s Irish Pub in San Francisco’s historic North Beach neighborhood. As the pub is 21+ only, we occasionally stage all-ages match viewings at alternate locations. Additionally, the Bay Area Gooners stay active in their community with canned food drives, charity matches, and more. Recently, we launched a South Bay Gooners offshoot for our members in the Santa Clara-San Jose area. We look forward to having you at either location.
